Now entering its fifth season, Seeds of Wisdom is a collaboration between the Wisdom Family Foundation, Wisdom Woods and St. Francis De Sales school in Spooner, Wisconsin.
Every summer, school volunteers teach St. Francis students to plant & tend an organic garden, raise butterflies, compost and sell produce. Proceeds from produce sales and additional grants from the Wisdom Family Foundation have contributed to technology purchases, a new kindergarten classroom and other capital improvements on school grounds.
Seeds of Wisdom allows families to learn about gardening and nutrition, connect with nature, and pursue a healthy way of life.
